This piece is based on the ancient Latin chant tune for lent, Attende Domine --hear us Lord and have mercy. It was written for the Lake Oswego United Methodist Church Lake Carillon Handbell Choir, directed by Linda Woods, and premiered at Going Boldly in Lake Oswego 2013.
